Good news for tech companies in Alberta: the province has just announced it will open “The Accelerated Tech Pathway” through the Alberta Immigration Nominee program. This stream aims to expedite the visa processing of foreign tech talents so that those with job offers in in-demand careers in the tech sector can become permanent residents of Canada in as early as six months.
Vog App Developers is among the tech companies today struggling to find highly skilled workers locally because of Alberta’s growing tech talent shortage. Vince O’Gorman, the CEO of Vog, tells Global News that he is excited about this new program. Currently, Vog has 30 unfilled positions.
